The Wishart family has played a part at key moments in Scotland’s history.
Jock is not only a proud member of his clan, he is also related to Scotland’s celebrated national poet Robert Burns. Aside from being a Doonhamer (from Dumfries), where Burns spent much of his life, Jock is a huge fan of the bard.
That’s never more evident than at Burns Suppers each January when, with a claymore in hand, Jock is to be seen addressing the haggis at many an event.
